I was going to post on Sleestak art this morning, but then I was talking to a friend who was all excited about something. He showed me his cell phone, and on it was a photo of him next to a Sleestak. Seems last night he was at a local drinking and dining establishment, and a very tall man came in, who had to duck to get unto the room. Bill Laimbeer, former Sleestak actor (and Detroit Pistons center and professional basketball coach) was in the area deer hunting.
Laimbeer actually lives in Florida now, but he came up for Michigan's firearm deer hunting season which began last week. I hope he didn't use one of those silly little crossbows as seen above! My friend did not expect to see him at the restaurant, but he is a big sports fan and recognized Laimbeer right away. Laimbeer didn't hiss, but he was a little reluctant to get his photo taken with my friend. But he did it anyway.
No idea if Bill bagged his buck yet. Also, no idea if he encountered the Dogman, as the restaurant he was in was close to Benzie County.

hehe an original sleestak unskinned!
Many deer hunters use tree stands.
I'm thinking Laimbeer is already
high enough?
Awesome!!! Just one day I would love to meet someone from Star Trek!
Although, I did meet Cliff from Cheers.
I remember this one sports writer making fun of him for his only getting up an inch or so on his jumper. He ignored the fact that it often went in.
Yeah, he certainly was no "Air Laimbeer". Regardless, he could probably jump higher than Cliff Claven.
